Small update. I drove the truck today with the recent upgrades. Big difference! It does not sound like a gravel truck anymore. I shifted through the gears and all is well. Disc brakes worked great also.
I added a pic of my goofy shifter. I got it off of a forklift that was left outside for many years and cut and welded it to my T5 shifter. Very functional. I am ready for the Austin show on Friday. |
