Last 2 Months Progress - Wheels, plates, seat, etc...

My C10 brothers from different mothers! I've made what I feel is some decent progress over the last few months so I figured I'd take some pictures today and share with you all. This is my first real post about myself or the truck really, so hello everyone, glad to be a part of such a helpful site! A little backstory on myself - I had a 70 CST when I was in highschool and foolishly sold it after a year or so. The PO did a janky job putting the truck together so it was constantly breaking down. I stupidly took my dads advice and sold it to buy something reliable. I always regretted selling it and told myself I'd get another one day, and well, that day came last July when I bought a 72 GMC 1500 LWB with a decent little 350/350 combo and a 3/5 or so drop. Its not perfect, will need some body, paint and otherwise, but I'm happy with what I started with. At first I just fixed a bunch of little dumb things the PO didn't do. I'm just now staring to really dig into it and I have lots and lots of plans, so much to come over the next couple years!

Alright that being said, heres whats new: Got some Ridler 695's, 20x8.5 up front and 20x10 in the back, running 255/45 up front and 295/40 in the rear. They went on like cake, no fitment issues at all. I got some CA black plates for the truck and got them restored, I'm gonna do a separate write up on that here shortly. A couple weeks ago I did a cheap recover job on the seat with some serapes, it came out pretty good I think considering I didn't spend much or know what I was doing for that matter. Its just temporary anyway as I have another bench seat that I'm having the brackets lowered 1.5 inches and then eventually get new foam and covers from Truckseats. Lastly, got new lens all the way around; sidemarker, LED tailights, backup lens, and clear front turn signals. Its pretty crazy how much difference the lens made, really brightened the look of the truck up. Here's some pics, hope you all enjoy!
