Ok, last kingpin question
Went to put the passenger's side together last night and had two questions when I walked away:
1. ) The thrust bearing goes on top of the bottom part of the spindle, or in between the lower part of the spindle & the axle, correct? I pulled a rookie mistake and tore down both sides at once.
2. ) When grease is pumped into the zerk, it should flow through the ends of the bushings if everything is aligned correctly, right? The top will do this, the bottom - the bushing gets pushed out, or grease comes out through the thrust bearing. Can't seem to get it aligned so the grease flows through the end of the bushing.
Any advice for a first-timer?
