What square body parts/goodies do you have stashed?
THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE AD! These are parts and things that I have collected because I either intend to use them or they were neat. Some of these pics aren't square related, but most are. Nor is this thread meant to be a "look what I have", I just realize there are some parts that others have not seen, I know I have learned a lot from this forum, and I want to share the knowledge/ideas.
Until recently I worked at a wrecking yard and I had the opportunity to buy parts off of vehicles as they were processed, before they were available to the public. The NOS parts I've collected on ebay and at swap meets. NOS NOS Bought these because I intend to put an LQ4 in my truck. This is not nearly everything I have, just some of the little stuff. Other things I have: NOS 83-84 GMC Grille, RPO V22 NOS "G" "M" "C" letters for the afore mentioned grille NOS Cruise Control kit NOS Tachometer (81+ style) NOS Instrument Cluster housing for the afore mentioned tachometer NOS Cargo Lamp kit NOS Gravel Shields (the first gen, the ones with the blue plastic film on them) Used core support from 83/84 with dual lamps Used auxiliary battery wiring solenoid, and all associated wiring/grommets/etc Used Interior Dome/Cargo flip-down light Used PW/PDL motors/solenoids and all the wiring, from fuse panel across the cab into the doors Used in-bed vertical tire carrier Used camper tie-down brackets, the ones that pass through the bedsides. Used camper stabilizer kit for the bed-cab Used 73/74 GMC Tailgate, w/o trim holes, removed from truck very early and barn stored. Several misc used lamps/lenses Also, each Parts & Illustration manual from 73-91, the 1983 GMC Trucks Showroom Data Album book/binder, covers S/T, C/K, G/P, and Medium Duty. 1983 C/K Truck Wiring/Dimensions Book, it is wide like the pictured 1987 Wiring Manual. An NV4500 and the 10.5" rear out of a '93 3500, rear has had the perches torched off, ground down, cleaned, primed, and waiting for new perches. A pair of NVG-241s for electronic speedos, for eventual LS motor swap and electronic goodies I am sure there is more I have forgotten...
