Do you have pictures with all belts in place? I have a similar setup, but I can't tell how you are driving the alternator. The factory image only shows the PS belt and doesn't show the alt belt, but it is needed.
They show their Alt belt in front of the PS belt. On mine, the water pump pulley is agaist the pump so I am assuming they had a completely different balancer than I am using.

An idler for the AC belt is a nice idea because of the long run, but I haven't found it necessary on mine.
I wanted to mount the Ac compressor as low as I could on the 292 so I used a External coil HEI. Maybe too low. I still have to take the belt off and raise the compressor to get the cap off.
Nice turbo setup.
