Smoke pouring out into engine bay
I just replaced the head gasket, and while the heads were off, I put new valve seals and umbrella seals on. Now that I have everything back together, Smoke is pouring into the engine bay. Mainly from the left bank, I think. there is so much it is hard to tell.
Could this be just junk that is in the engine from the old gaskets? If one of the valve orings slipped off its groove when putting the spring on could it cause this? I adjusted the valves with the E-O I-C method, and all the exhaust has new gaskets and is tight and snug. I did put synthetic in it on accident, not sure if that is bad. I put a qt of MMO along with it.
