Flexible fuel line

Hey all,
I want to start plumbing the fuel lines just to get the motor running, and maybe get it to the point where it will run around the block. All I can seem to find at the auto parts stores are the hard lines that came stock. I have a fuel filter lying around, but is an inline fuel hose filter. (it has the nipples to just slip a line on either end)

Just for now,
Would it be alright for me to run some fuel hose instead of the original hard line?
