Sorry I haven't gotten back to you until now, haven't had a chance to check the forum since this morning and thanks Rus for answering the question for me. I thought you were talking about the upper bag mounts too. If your talking about the notch cover, they can be made out of anything, wood, metal etc. heck I have even seen a beer keg as a notch cover. On mine I plan on just raising the entire bed floor to cover the notch.
