I took the distributor and cap out of my 350 a while back, and its time to put them back together. my problem is that i cant remember where to start with the wire for the number 1 cylinder. If i have the engine at tdc, and i line the rotor up with one of the metal things in the cap, can i just go from there and install all the wires in order, or is there a cerain spot on the cap i need to start? right now, i have the #1 cylinder wire on the connection 2 clockwise of where the tac/power wire connects. i know this prolby sounds dumb, but im confused as hell. if anyone can post a pic of a correctly installed distributor, with something indicating which wire goes to cylinder #1, i would really be a happy camper.
