Starters the same?
I ended up with a starter off a newer silverado with 5.3 for my 6.2 swap. It has the plug instead of the terminal bolt for the ignition wire. Will it work fine for the 6.2? I know it bolts up fine, but I just don't know if the throw of the gear is correct. Just trying to make sure before I try and crank it up. I don't want to break any teeth on anything. I tried to cross reference part numbers and use some common sense, but the part numbers don't cross over for fit, I think because of the plug instead of the ring terminal. But it seams to me it SHOULD work correctly. Any thoughts?
