Upper and lower bushings are rubber. Is my front end a 73-87? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My 72' had disk brakes installed by the PO and I've always had a suspicion that they were out of a 73-87 (had to grind and clearance for direct fit headers, etc).

Is there any sure fire way to tell what it is out of? The upper and lower bushings are rubber and I believe they are supposed to be steel on a 72.

Lastly, my steering box needs to be replaced. Is this a 73-87 part specific to the front end?
