1968-70 Restored Cruise Control System
I have for sale a 1968-70 restored cruise control system. This is a period correct system that includes a refurbished transducer, new speedometer cable, new vacuum release bracket, NOS vacuum release valve, new stop light switch and new turnsignal switch . All the brackets have been media blasted and re-coated with black phosphate. Includes installation instructions from 1967-68 and GM service instructions from 1968-1970.
The harness is used but very nice. I do have some new harnesses if you want to upgrade to it. The servo was cleaned and recolored. It has been vacuum checked and does not leak. There are 2 items that are not period correct. One is the turnsignal switch and second the bracket to attach the chain to the accelerator arm. I do have the intake manifold vacuum tee's. Just let me know how many ports are required. The vacuum lines are not included but can be found at any parts store. I have found this system on 1969-70 trucks and some 1968 trucks. I think that there was an overlap on systems installed in late 1968. The difference was the transducer, servo and mounting bracket. The early servo had 2 vacuum ports and the later have 1 vacuum port. 2 different servo mounting brackets were used. This is the later one. Price is sold shipped to CONUS.
