Ok to run wheel adapters?

So i got a killer deal on some incubus 18" wheels. I bought them to resell because they are 6x5 for blazers. Then curiousity got me to see about adapters. Roadkill enterprizes makes a set of adapters that are $250 for all four. They are billet aluminum 6061-t6. I was wanting to find out who has used spacer adapters before and is there a hp/tq limit? Im going to have a built small block at 400hp.
