th350 to 700r4 conversion

Ok, i haven't seen a thread yet on doing a conversion unless I am not searching correctly so i thought i would post one, if this is a dupe thread I am sorry. If this isn't a duplicate thread, please post all your tricks and know how so us that are aging have a place to remember and for the people doing a conversion.
So I hadnt gone to pick up my driveshaft for the 700r4 trans I put into the truck so I took a chance and pulled my driveshaft from the rafters in my shop I had stored that came out of my th350 trans and tried to put it into my 700r4 and it FIT. I just have to get it shortened, balanced and new universals installed then i can throw it back into the truck. Then i just have to have a custom shifter cable made that i can adapt to my column / transmission.
