Vent Window Removal

[BAT]

I am going to strip my old doors tomorrow and I am a little concerned about taking out the vents. I know this has been covered here before and I did do a search and I am seeing conflicting info. So here are my questions:

1. Does the window have to come out first or doesn't it matter?
2. Do I just remove the 3 screws on the angled part and it comes loose?
3. I read something about removing the weather striping, I don't understand
4. Sounds like I remove the screws, tilt back and turn toward the cab, is that all?

Any tips, tricks or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
