New Member/ New Truck

Hello everyone.
Finally was able to get registered today after trying for a week. I have been looking way back on this site and have to say this place is pretty cool.
We just bought a 71 c10 factory sb today. The truck is pretty sound mechanically and drives good it's just a little rough around the edges. It's going to be driven regularly mostly by my 17 year old son and he's pretty excited to say the least.
I'm not 100 percent sure how far I'm going to go on rebuilding the truck for now but I'm sure I will have plenty of questions along the way.I will try to get some pics loaded tomorrow sometime.

I guess I will ask my first now. I looked in the glove box for the spid sticker and it looks like it has been painted over. I'm not sure it's under the paint but I think it may be. Is there a way to get the paint off without damaging the sticker in the process? Any help is greatly appreciated.
