Stock Air Intake?

Hey Guys,
I'm trying to keep things pretty simple on the l92 swap. I know there are cold air intakes made for these, but I kind of like how quite the factory intakes are. My problem is that I need to do the air box on the drivers side. I'm trying to use a factory surge tank and keep the battery tray in the stock location also, so the passenger side is a little crowded. Has anybody used a stock air box on the driver side? If so what vehicle was it from? I looked at the Camaro boxes, but I'm not sure they will fit around the alternator. Pics would be great!!! Thanks Guys!!
