Denee, Thanks for the reply.

The underside of my roof has crusty rust on it. It's not holed-through in the middle but it IS in a couple small strips in the rain gutter on the passenger side. I've got to cut that out and I'm hoping I don't find I need to replace the entire roof, ala Kabwe (Bam).

I don't know how it got so much rust since there SHOULD HAVE BEEN a headliner up there. But it did sit un-driven and outside from '91 - '10! Regardless, I need to take an aggressive sanding disc to get it all off, Ospho & neutralize it, then KBS it (I guess) so I wasn't planning to add ANYthing that could potentially be a place for moisture to accumulate.
