best carb setup for 250 six

what would be the best daily driver setup for a dual carb . i have run dual carb rochester i barrels , there a little temperamental . i dont want a single carb , i was looking at dual 97's but those a expensive little buggers ... i seen were langdons says to run dual webbers . i just want a little feed back on what yall are running and how they run .. the motor will have headers and a heated intake probably a offy . no plans to change cam yet but that might change . original dist. with petronix breakerless . i want to stick to old school looks , no hei's no 4 barrles , no tbi . thanks ,, here is a couple of pics of my new baby on the back of my wrecker my plans are a slight static drop ,wide whites , lake pipes , t-5 or 200r4 tranny ,and powder blue paint with white scallops or white with red scallops . everyday driver and still pull my fishing boat ....
