rear end removal

Question.

I need to get the rear end out of my parts truck tomorrow. If I jacked up the frame at the back of the truck, wouldn't it be possible to remove the trailing arms where they pivot, disconnect the coil springs and panhard bar, then (once the brake lines are disconnected) roll it out, sort of like a wheel barrow?

I'll need to move it around, and this seems the easiest way to make it moveable. Does this sound nuts, or do-able? Also, Let me add that both rear tires are flat, so I intend to get them off the rims, the put the rims back on for the "rolling" around the driveway.
