Raised gas tank

Wasnt really sure where this should go, but i figured the bagged guys would have experience with this. i moved my tank up above the frame and on 1" spacers, now obviously my tank filler doesnt line up. i cut those tabs off so that i could slide the hose on more of the filler tubes, so in this pic the filler neck and tank neck are actually about 1-2" apart, so the actual hose being "used" isnt as long as it looks. would mounting the hose like this (the angle of it really) cause any fill problems...or back flow?
