Resurrection not Restoration

After 20 long years, I Finally found a 67--72 2wd short box ...er, um, part of one.
It is originally a '68 short box step side Forest service truck.
It came as a stripped down, plane Jane 6 cyl
Origional options included:
Heavy duty springs, special paint, vinyl interior, heavy duty rear axle, posi-traction, 4:10 gears (it still has the rear end)
I snatched it off craigslist for $529

Promptly Ran to Montana to acquire the parts truck I have been hording for the last decade.

We made quick work of reducing it to a pile of parts, I also had some extra parts stashed that got added to the pile. (My buddy, Paul and my Brother-in-law, Chris, made the trek with me and helped with the deconstruct.)

I paid $200 for the 67 C 20 10 years ago, and sold the gauge cluster for $75 and passenger door for $75.[$50 parts truck!!!]
It cost me $ 80 in diesel to fetch it.
$ 50
+$ 80
+$529
______
$659 That seems like a good starting point.
I've been waiting for this truck for damn near 20 years
More to come, promise.
