Wood BEd - Offset washer question
I am converting my GMC over to a wood bed. We are almost to the point we can bolt in the final pieces, but I have a question on the offset washers.
How would they have looked from the factory? I'm just not sure on the orientation of the washer as compared to the bolt holes. Which way would the larger side of the washer go? Assuming more 'away' from the strip explaining why the washers were offset to begin with (?) Just wanted to be sure. I have the actual holes drilled and lined up perfectly I just can't figure out how I should do the offset washer recessed hole orientation. Pics maybe ? Btw- I did search, and found several posts but I am just curious how they looked stock. I'll match mine up as closely as possible. Mar-K has a description of it but no pics I can find (yet) Thanks.
