Hello from San Diego

Hey, new here on the site. Have been lurking and looking at build threads for the last year or so. Finally might be picking up a truck. I'm in the processing of selling my motorcycle, and when that goes through, I'm getting a truck.

So I want to pick your brains a little when it comes to buying and rebuilding one. I don't plan on doing a full off body re-build/resto, simply due to lack of money. i want the truck to be a daily driver and will eventually make it look purty. Main goal, is to get it reliable and functioning. With that being said, what's the first thing i should do? I was thinking brakes and engine. On brakes, should I restore, or get disks? Disks worth it?

Any advice would help. Have narrowed it down to these three candidates. I have seen them in person yet, but seem to have the least rust on panels compared to others.
