Strange Starting '76
It's getting colder up here in Manitoba, but my fearless '76 hasn't let me down yet!
I has this weird starting sequence though... I pump the pedal a few times and it cranks over without too much trouble. I let it idle long enough to warm it up a bit, then I put it into drive. As soon as I take my foot off the brake it stalls. It starts up again without any problem. I put it in drive and the second time it just drives away without any problem. It does this consistently - stalling the first time but going the second time I put it into drive. What gives???

Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
