Tire size question

I've looked at several trucks but cant find the tire size they are running. I'm going to ditch the 15x10 vette rally wheels with the 275./60/15's and run the 17x8 soft 8's that I got from Summit. They have a 4 in backspace on them and I know they will tuck fine up front and I'm going to run a half inch or so spacer in the rear. In your experience with these trucks, what is good size tire to run? I don't want to run rubber band wheels as my truck is only dropped 2.5 up front and 2 in the rear. Just looking for a not to low not to tall of a side wall.
