Shock Relocate Kit

I would like to do something now about my rear shocks. I have a 5" spring drop in the rear and I'm darn near on the bump stops. However, I haven't trimmed the stops because my shocks are almost fully compressed and I was a afraid I'd dump the full weight of the truck on them and crater something unintentionally. No notch.

So, I've seen folks here using the ECE shock relocation kit and the No Limit kit. Would anyone like to make a real strong case one way or the other on this? Thx.
