About a year ago I had a fellow member surprise me with a part I was needing pretty badly at no charge. I wanted to pay it forward so I offered up a new tan dash pad that I had bought but went with a different color for the interior instead. Found a member who was happy to get it, got it boxed up and got it ready to go, then the next time I went to bed I woke up many days later in the ICU in Lubbock, in the section where they keep the organ donors. Nothing like congestive heart failure, double pneumonia and a potassium count so low that it usually means you're dead to make you wake up and reprioritize. I tried getting in touch with the member I had promised the pad to but haven't heard back. If anyone else is working on their truck and could use a new tan dash pad, just post an I'll take it and then get it sent out to you.
