5 Lug conversion kits.

I have a 69 rear end. Will be changing from 6 lug drum to 5 lug disc. Whats so special about the conversion kits I see from a couple different brands?

Cpp has one for $360.

Cant I just buy new 5 lug axle shafts for my make/ model axle and buy the disc conversion kit?
