Parking brake Cables for a '72 with a gm 14 bolt FF

I am looking for an idea on how one goes about the rear parking brake cables on a '72 C25 with a 14 bolt FF. I just pulled off my 14 bolt SF and found that the cables are push in on the SF but bolt on on the FF. I found cables, several times but they turn out to be too short each time. Are these something that I have to have custom made?
