Steering gear/column questions.

Newbie to the site. I've been sitting on a 71 C10 body for about a year and now my daughter has decided that we need to built it for her. I'm jazzed that she is interested in the truck (very cool) and that she wants to help with the build. Now to the questions...

I'm picking up an 85 2500 Suburban as a donor and wanted to know if anyone has swapped steering gear/steering column from one of these into a 67-72.
