Need help with my rear end...
Hi everyone!
I'm relativly new here. I have a 1949 Chevy 3600, 4 speed, 3/4 ton pick up. I want to basically leave the truck stock, but I heard that if I leave my truck stock I can only go about 40 MPH.. I have a question in regards to swaping my rear end. I found reading articles to use a chevy s10 pick up. 1. what gear ratio? 2. 4 wheel drive or standard? 3. I found a 2002 chevy S10 (non) 4WD, would that work? He wants to sell the whole frame for $300.00 Thanks everyone !!
