Gas tank size

For those of you that have custom gas tanks and your truck is a weekend cruiser, how many gallons does your tank fit? I want to get a spun aluminum tank and I'm going to recess it in the bed floor. I can fit one that is about 12 gallons, but I could have it modified (more$$) to hold more. I just don't want to be sorry i got too small of a tank, but on the other hand, I don't want to spend money unnecessarily on modifying the tank. Thought?

Thanks,
Josh
