Gas tank filler through flip down plate holder (55-59 truck)

Has anyone seen a rear frame mounted gas tank installed on a 55-59 flare side bed truck where the filler neck comes through a flip down licence plate bracket in the bumper?

Here is the closest I've seen, just not same year. I need to meaure everything up but it looks doable: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=448431

Also one more thing, my truck will get air ride eventually so it would be nice if it didn't get in the way of the truck laying frame (rocker)....but I can always fix that later.

Wish I was at home to measure this up.
