odd transmission mount question

I'm rebuilding the transmission (TH400) and 402 BB in a 1972 c10 for a friend of mine. Got the engine and transmission back in this evening but have a question about the transmission mount. The original mount is virtually non existence. There was so much muck on it and no rubber left to see how anything went, plus I took it out over a month ago. But, I have two longer bolts and two steel plate 3/8 spacers of some sorts that have the hole oblong and they match with the width of the upper mounting hoes and transmission holes. I have no idea if these were just part of the original mount if they should be installed between my new mount and the transmission. Any body seen this? Thanks!
