Is a cut down longbed a bad decision?!!

Hey guys,
I'm seriously looking at getting a 72 cheyenne super Ive had my eye
on for a few months now, everything checks out on the truck and
all the original "super" addons are there and in good condition
However spid states 127"......

My question for you fine folks is what should I be looking for to see if it was
done properly when I crawl under it later today?
Also any other concerns I should have because of this mod?
Thanks!
