differential question

I am looking for a rebuild kit for a factory 70's camaro differential. It is the clutched style lsd with 5 springs rather then an s spring. Does anyone know if eaton or auburn parts will interchange? It is currently a 30 spline but i would like to convert to 28 spline so i dont have to buy a set of $300 axles. Trying to get this done as cheaply as possible as i also need to buy a set of gears and a master bearing kit. Any input is appreciated!
