new tranny
i have a 74 gmc stepside and need to get rid of this 4 speed manual tranny. looking at having a local shop install a 700r or a th400. the th400 installed is $1300.. the 700r installed is $2700. im on a budget and have little time to do the install myself. what are the pros and cons of each. if you guys can which one is the better of the 2 in the long run. thanks appreciate ur help.
