67 ignition switch question

Hey all Newbie alert

Been several months since I've popped the hood on my 67 due to a myriad of family health issues. Tried to get the ol gal started today. Got the distributor in and got it to fire by using a Screwdriver to jump the solenoid. I replaced the ignition switch previously but now it doesn't work. So any thoughts on troubleshooting the switch? I'm electrically challenged but do own a volt meter but admittedly have never used it. How can I tell if juice is getting in and out of the switch?

Thanks for any specks of help I might get
