283 with T56 thoughts?
I am in the beginning stages of a frame off resto. Looking for good performance with great fuel mileage. I am thinking of using a 283 and mating up a T56 to it. Not sure which will be the best rear-end yet. My vision is to have a truck that will tow a small travel vintage travel trailer across the US. Look and run great and get mid to low 20s (w/o the trailer) and mid to high teens with it.
