question about 283's...

Obviously a 350 or larger cubic inch motor producing more torque would be better performance wise for a c10.

But how about a 283 for a daily driver/cruiser?? Reason I ask is I have the chance to acquire one for practically nothing thats been rebuilt 15, 000 miles on it/complete .person swapped to a larger cubic inch performance motor .

This is my first c10 so I have no clue how these trucks run with a 283

Figured some guys had run one .

Just didnt know if dumping the extra $$ into a crate motor would really be worth it if im selling the truck in the near future. Although it seems like a brand new motor would be a feature thatd set it apart when it comes time to sell .
