1952 Chevy truck seat belts

I am getting ready to mount standard lap belts in my 1952 half ton. I am just curious where others have mounted the anchor bolts in these trucks. If I mount them behind the seat then the fuel tank will need to be moved temporarily while the holes are drilled and the belt would have to go over the metal bracing and then under the back cushion. Mounting the anchor bolts under the seat would be much easier but does not seem to be as safe of an angle.. I have no problem pulling the fuel tank to drill the holes if that is the safest way to go... Thanks in advance for your insight...
