Converting 67 drumbrakes to disc

I just got a 67 six cylinder with 3 on the tree manual and want to convert the old front drum brakes to front disc brakes. I got a front clip out of a 71 from a guy. Ive put that in and now must remove the orig. 67 master cylinder and replace it with a 71 or 72 brake booster and master cylinder and proportioning valve and change over to different brake lines. Ok, I understand all that. My question is do I need to get a 71/ 72 booster mounting bracket that attaches to the firewall or does anyone out there have an idea how I should mount the new 71/72 booster/master cylinder combo? Is there a way I can attach the rod coming out of the 71/72 booster to the original linkage that goes to the 67 brake pedal? Any insight would sure be helpful.
