R & R frame or?

I have had some time to look at how to rebuild the family's 1969 C-20. Let me back up a bit an splan what I am talking about. In on April 1st 2011, some person ran in front of me and I hit them, Totaling my family's truck of 42 yrs. (first pic)
I got another C-20 frame and rust free body and was going to use the parts off blue to "MAKE WHOLE" (as the insurance would say. 2nd pic)
I want to keep as much the old blue truck as possible.

How much work is it to cut and weld the frontend (from oh say mid cab forward)
