New coil spring misaligned after installation
This past weekend, I installed a set of new upper and lower ball joints and coils in my 72 Cheyenne. I noticed, after I got it all put back together, that my driverside coil was sitting fine in the lower control arm, but a little off center where it goes up into the spring housing, more towards the tire. Could this spring center its self with a little cruise and maybe a speed bump, or will that cause damage? I suppose I could rent the compressor again, but i thought it wouldnt hurt to ask.
