Question Replacement engine is suirting oil out of a port behind the distributor cap?

Hi all,

I have a 65 GMC that I put a late 60s 283 into. It is ready to fire and wants to start. Before I fully commit and possible ruin the engine, I have an issue. The oil squirts rapidly out of a port on the engine right behind the distributor. I do not want to commit thinking something may be clogged and I do not know what this port is. The oil squirts against the firewall and straight down off of the transmission. I am thinking something is not hooked up correctly or this needs to run to the valve covers or is blowing off pressure because of a clog.

Can someone help me out with this issue?

Thanks,
Mark
