Head in the clouds, seat problem, help?
hello everyone. i have a problem that you all might help me with.
i just had my factory seat for my 1972 cheyenne re-done, down to the frame, both new seat foams, cover, and when i installed the seat i found that when i get in my head is aprox 1" from the roof and the steering is 1" from my (beer belly). and im only 5'11" in height. i didnt notice this problem before but im sure the original seat after 45 yrs had sagged. anyway i cant drive this truck that way.whats a good fix? i have collasped the steering column to solve some of my "too close to the wheel" problems. but still have the height problem. H E L P ! ***and has anyone else ran into this problem? poss fix.... *-- does any othe year (1967-71) seat sit lower? *-- can i cut down the brackets?
