Wow, still learning about this truck. different steering box??

So I am in the process of rebuilding by steering box. I took out the steering box (pita) and started the rebuild process. Go to put in the first bearing and it is too large. So are the seals and dust cover for it...... Look up the box casing number of 7802644 and ...... It looks like it is for a later 70's to 80's truck. Which means the rebuild kit I have will not work. The plus side is the rebuild kit is only $25 for that box where the one I bought is $51. Hope to have this resolved this weekend. Another trip back to Oreillys. At least they had this one in stock.

Wish me luck.
