Just brought home a 1982 crew cab

I bought this one site unseen thinking it would be a good parts truck, but its too clean and cool to cut up. Its a stripped down government truck from the local Air Force base. 6-292 with a granny 4 speed. The previous owner rigged an electric fuel pump into a gas can setting next to the battery tray. I need to figure out what mechanical fuel pump fits so I can get it running without spraying carb cleaner in the carb. When I looked it up, the fuel pumps only go up to the 1980 model year for the 292 engines. This truck does have an in bed spare tire carrier and a bunch of factory delete plugs. I'm thinking this truck could be good for towing and hauling the family...maybe a 4x4 conversion...
