Any Literature Hounds out there?
I was just wondering if any or many of the guys on the forum have a library of literature or equivalent for their trucks or for trucks in general.
I've been collecting this kind of stuff myself for years and although its a little spread out around the house its always pretty handy for referencing parts. Some of the literature I've acquired includes the following: -All the service, repair, and factory assembly manuals for my 2 trucks ('66 and the '72)...this is the absolute base amount of info to start with in my books. (pardon the pun) -Multi-page sales brochures and folders (good for the option groups as well as other tech info on the trucks like spring options, tires, etc) -Good ol' Dealer Parts Catalogues....the big thick 4"-5" jobs. These have all the info on GM trucks parts. I have a bunch of these overlapping in year series right back to the 30's. (seems like about 300lbs worth... The old ones are more of a conversation piece than anything immediately helpful for my stuff. As well, I still have my collection of 'pick-ups and panels in print' from the 90's...which really was a great hobby publication. I'm sure a lot of members remember it. ....anywhoooo, thats just scratchin' the surface it seems LOL Anyone else have a good collection on the go? All Good Coley
